What materials can I use to build my sign?

Sign materials vary by location and usage as well as budget. We can use a range of materials  including Acrylic, Aluminum,  Corrugated plastic, Fabric, PVC, Magnetic sheeting, Vinyl, Steel and Wood. We are also happy to reuse existing materials where possible rather than it ending up in a landfill.

What fonts can be used?

Our designer can help with this choice. It’s important to choose a font that is legible and reflects your brand. The font or typeface refers to the letters or characters that make up the copy on the sign. Fonts are categorized by Serif, San Serif, Script and Specialty. Remember that some fonts are difficult to read. We can help you consider factors such as visibility and readability when choosing the font for your sign.

Will my sign need any maintenance?

Depending on the materials, signs may need to be cleaned over time, especially outdoor signage. Our team can make specific recommendations for maintenance based on your sign . It’s important to avoid damage from harsh cleaners that could stain or fade your sign. We can add anti graffiti coatings  if required.

How long does it take to make a sign?

The time it takes to make a sign can vary depending on the materials and complexity. Our team strive to meet your expectations on deadlines and turnaround time. While some projects may be ready within the day, other projects can take much longer to complete.

How long will my sign last?

The expected lifetime of a sign depends on whether you place the sign or graphic indoor or outdoor (full sun, moisture, wind etc). Here at Signco we use both short and long term vinyl to match your needs. Whether your sign needs to withstand the elements in an outdoor setting or needs to be located indoor, our team will work with you to determine the best option to suit you and your company's needs.

What is your turn around time?

Here at Signco our turnaround is fast, but fast means different things to different people. How quickly we can get you what you need depends on the type of signs you need, the number of signs needed, if you have approved artwork ready to use and how fast you can approve layout examples, if we have the materials in the shop or have to order them, if the signs need permits to be installed, if the installation site has the structures we need to hang or affix something, etc.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Currently we accept cash or bank deposits on pick up or invoice payments.

What information will I need to provide?

We are flexible - we can offer a full service or just a print and install so its totally dependent on your needs. We can work from scratch i.e come out and measure up, work through your company's needs and develop a concept, or if you have a logo, measurements, a photo or copy you want to use then we can provide a concept for you. Or if you have a design ready to go we can print and install. So lets talk.
